CCR-Test

The Carcinochrome Reaction (CCR) developed by Gutschmidt is a photometric measurement of the red coloring formed in the urine after addition of a carcinochrome reaction for early detection of cancer illnesses. The test process assumes that increased polypeptides produced by a cancer cell can be measured in the urine. Many doctors use the CCR test particularly for early detection of a tumor event.
