Holistic Cancer Counselor

Holistic cancer counselor

An introduction to a new vocational profile

Independent, holistic cancer counseling

Sooner or later, all who are closely involved with non-conventional cancer therapies are confronted with the same problem: the majority of patients only turn to alternative therapies after conventional therapies have failed. Unfortunately, the body’s condition at which the alternative therapy begins is now completely different than it was before chemotherapy or irradiation was administered.Naturally, our body is no longer the same after irradiation or chemotherapy, not even when “objective data”, such as hemograms, stabilize after several weeks.

Since 99.9% of cancer cases are diagnosed by conventionally-trained physicians most patients are also treated conventionally. Typically, doctors are only slightly familiar (or not at all) with non-conventional therapies (such as mistletoe, thymus, enzymes, vitamins, etc.), and often they still lack substantial information concerning the statistics on conventionally-used therapies. Thus, patients can usually only choose from an operation, chemotherapy, or irradiation.

However, the greatest deficit is in those directly affected, including relatives. Due to emotional attachment, those involved are usually not in a situation where they can make rational decisions immediately after the diagnosis. This factor is, unfortunately, the reason why far too many hasty decisions are still made that patients often later regret. It’s understandable, of course, because when people are diagnosed, they almost always believe that they no longer have enough to research and consider things or explore options.

Let’s be honest:

What doctor provides their patients with copies of studies on the chemotherapy or irradiation that will be administered?

What doctor is even capable of describing a non-conventional approach besides conventional methods?

What patient can ask their doctor THE really important questions that they are otherwise incapable (due to the patient’s lack of knowledge and the emotional impact of the diagnosis)?

The answers to these questions are almost always “No.” Yet, these three particular points are the most important post cancer diagnosis. Unfortunately, only a few people are fortunate enough to sit opposite a doctor who is familiar with both conventional and non-conventional approaches; two significant directions of oncology.

Another major challenge is determining whether the therapy offered would help just one particular patient, or if it will be effective for other patients as well. For a number of various reasons, many patients are “led” into studies and thus forever lose the chance to benefit from successful non-conventional therapies. On the other hand, other patients pay for expensive unconventional therapies and realize much too late that the therapies offered are not even close to being worth the money.

Unfortunately, issues with money, career, and therapies are almost always connected. Consequently, it is very difficult for a lay person (and often for experts as well) to discern whether the therapies offered are independent of other – mostly financial – interests. It is for this reason that other teachers and I have started offering vocational training to those interested in becoming a holistic cancer counselor.

How is it done?
We train people to be counselors, not therapists (counselor are people who only give oral advice to cancer patients; they do not carry out any therapy, not even psychological therapy. Therapists, on the other hand, are people who use therapies on patients, or with patients). We consider the separation between the treating specialist/therapist and the counselor to be absolutely necessary so that conflicts of interest do not occur. Only in this way can a patient be 100% certain that he or she will receive independent and unbiased advice.

A counselor earns money from his work and ONLY this counseling work. He will not earn additional income, which is, unfortunately, the status quo today. Naturally, we would share all our knowledge with our counselors, particularly the information on doctors and clinics offering holistic treatment or have successfully treated cancer.

May I request payment for my counseling work at a later time?
Of course. Every holistic cancer counselor can and should advise people based on his personal background (self-help group leader, former patient, physician, psychologist, naturopath, etc.), and he should be paid for this advice. The only difference between a treating specialist and the counselor is that the latter does not carry out any therapy himself for which he receives money from the patients.
How long will the training take?
The training course will take 12 months. Each month you will receive a teaching letter together with 8-10 teaching videos. You can take the exam 12 months after the first lesson at the earliest or 24 months at the latest. Hence, you can properly determine your own learning speed.
What does the training course include?
A comprehensive curriculum, in which the necessary minimum knowledge for the holistic counseling of people with cancer will be presented. Naturally, the course includes the entire 3E-Program (Eat healthily, Eliminate toxins, Energetic work) and the knowledge of various cancer therapies, standardized allopathic therapies and diagnostics and, most importantly, the knowledge of which conventional and non-conventional therapies are demonstrably successful for which types of cancer. The training enables every counselor to prepare a consultation offer for his work. We do not believe that every counselor should work in the same manner. Just as each patient is a unique individual, each counselor must find out for himself how best to advise and guide people who are ill.
Do I need basic medical knowledge?
Yes and no. Simply put, we say that a natural medical training will be very helpful in learning the material, but it is not necessary if the person to be trained is willing to acquire the necessary knowledge.
Who are the instructors?
Mr. Lothar Hirneise and others who can contribute to the achievement of the learning goal.
Please describe the work of a holistic cancer counselor in practice?
The answer to these questions naturally depends on the context of the individual, the professional experience of the individual or the profession in which the individual wishes to work. In principle, the counselors offer guidance along the patient’s path – regardless of whether the patient wants to follow a conventional or non-conventional path. The consultation can take a few hours (3E-Program, accompanying the patient to the oncologist, etc.) or extend over a longer period of time. Close collaboration with the treating therapist is also possible.
With each training letter, you will receive 30 questions so that you can better control what you have learned. At the end of the training, you will have a summary of 360 questions. From these 360 questions known to you, the examination contains 30 questions. You must correctly answer 60% of these questions. The exam can be repeated at any time free of charge.
For whom is the training suitable?
The training is suitable for all who want to learn about holistic cancer therapies and their success. Another focus is the understanding of diseases in general, the 3E-Program and the comprehensive counseling of cancer patients. Medical knowledge is an advantage, but not a prerequisite.
For whom is the training NOT suitable?
If you treat patients oncologically as a primary therapist, you are not allowed to do the training. However, if you only work as an auxiliary/ancillary therapist (e.g. accompany a homeopathic/orthomolecular cancer therapy etc.) and want to advise cancer patients in particular, then training is possible. If you have any further questions, please contact us at any time:info@cancer-whisperer.com
